Bardic Astronomy (Chapters 1 to 4)

Preface

Circus people, in their care of elephants over the years, have learned something fascinating about animal psychology. When an elephant is young, the handlers use a heavy chain to keep the beast fastened to a post. The animal tries violently to escape, but the chain holds fast. Soon, the animal resigns itself to a life bound by the chain. When the elephant grows up, the circus people then switch the chain to a rope.

The young elephant, in its mind, concludes the binding cannot be broken. For the rest of its life, the elephant never again believes it is possible to break away. For the adult elephant, this early conclusion is hidden in its physiology. The elephant has physiologically formed with the idea that the constraint cannot be broken. The elephant becomes a sort of permanent child, it lives its entire adult life based on the early conclusions.This early conclusion becomes "wired-in" for the elephant. The adult elephant cannot believe it has a false premiss and cannot “go there” in its mind.

Consider types like George Bush, Dick Cheney, Barbara Bush, Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove, Sarah Palin, Anne Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and say, Mark Levin. These persons have the wired-in belief that compassion and generosity are useless. They are programmed elites. This belief is hard-wired in their physiologies in the same way the circus elephant believes the rope to be too strong to break. This conclusion has been "wired-in" for them and they cannot "go there" in their minds to entertain a different possibility. Their whole life has formed around this early constraint like the elephant. The mental characteristic identifies them.

There are corporate leaders that are programmed in this way; there was the woman heading Wellpoint that was recently caught using software to deny coverage to women with breast cancer. There was the head of the mining operation that had the 24 people die in a blast and cave-in after countless violations. These people can mysteriously explain their innocence in ways that are unfathomable to the rest of us.

These people are NAZIS. "NAZI" is a word for a mind-controlled compassionless person. They share the mind control with Hitler's German NAZIS and this mind-control is the group's distinguishing characteristic. Mind control is the ancient subject occultly covered by the symbolism in the Wagner operas so beloved by Hitler's "SS." The "Ring" in Wagner's Ring of the Nibelung refers to this type of binding applied to man and humanity. The word NAZI is related to NASA and Nazarene and the Jewish Nasi--it means a lofty one. This is a modern-day Saturn cult.

INTRODUCTION

Before the modern religions, before Judaism, Christianity, Islam, before the Church of the Latter Day Saints, and before Jehovah's Witnesses, the Saturnists had existed for many years. They must have started invading and enslaving an earlier solar culture between the ages of Gemini and Taurus, around 4,479 BC, and have expanded from that time to hold the world tightly in their grip today. For the last three zodiacal ages, the world has been increasingly controlled by Saturnists. Saturnism is the original technology and ideology of power and material gain. Saturnism is the religion of the reaper. If you believe in love and compassion, which are solar values, you are a remnant from the earlier Solar culture which the Saturnists replaced. This ancient cult of Saturn invented god. In this way, everything sacred was removed from the face of the earth. To this day, Saturn is known as the "father of the gods."

Many today wonder what the strange rituals in the forest groves and other places performed by elites are about.  Alex Jones, in his Secrets of the Bohemian Grove documentary, captured such a ritual attended by the power-elite that is clearly non-Christian. Also, simultaneously, the same elites curiously seem to have cultivated an extreme self interest, a morbid selfishness, that confounds the understanding of the gentle masses. The old rituals of the elites, along with the related extreme self interest, are just the old Saturnists doing their thing. Another name for Saturn is "El."  This Saturnistic “El” is the root from which we get the word "elite." When this ideology of Saturn began its betrayal of the larger civilization, the pickings were very rich. This is why one finds in the Bible and in other old books, for example in Homer’s Illiad, stories about groups just raiding others and taking the belongings. The original Saturnists had a culture of going in and stealing all the stuff, killing everyone and then going on to the next place. It worked for them just as raiding our pension funds works for the modern corporate raider. Not having compassion is a form of freedom. Saturnism is the grandfather of our modern culture. It used to be "gold and slave girls" that motivated persons like Achilles. In the modern world it is "real estate and trophy wives." There is not a great difference between the two. The old Saturnists did their thing until they had too much stuff to carry and then they had to put their stuff down. They put it down in Rome and in other places. The old founding story of Rome was that Romulus betrayed and killed his brother Remus. The reaper god  Saturn betrays his sibling. The story is found in many cultures. It was usually a story of one brother betraying the other. Rome was the place where the Romulans gained so much plunder through a religion of betrayal they could no longer carry it with them. Rome was a Saturnist city. Romulus betrayed Remus as Set betrayed Osiris or as Saturn betrayed what can be called Sol.

Saturnism has been growing since its pre-apocalyptic revival around 5,199 BC. This was the time Saturnistic ideology was developed before the last apocalypse. An apocalypse is a great change in the psychological world view of the civilization. There was a period of about 720 years before that apocalypse when Saturnistic ideology was probably conceived and expressed for the current Great Year.  The celebrated date for the Saturnistic takeover of the previous Solar world however, is Walpurgisnacht, the spring equinox of 4,479 BC. I get these dates from reading symbols of the old bardic culture that was stolen by the Saturnists and kept for themselves.  

Do you remember the end of the movie Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark?  After all of Indiana’s efforts to find and obtain the Ark, it was ultimately taken away by the government and put in a warehouse for their study alone. This is what has been done to the very old Solar culture that used to be our birthright. It has been taken away and is now considered the private property of the elites that destroyed the earlier culture. This ancient occult wisdom, which I will call “Bardic Astronomy,” is hidden, but mysteriously alive and well in the modern world. Others will have to judge whether this sky wisdom originates with the Druids or Atlanteans, whatever its origin may be, I am presenting it here.  It is time for the gentle people to take back their ancient birthright. The symbols of this old wisdom are currently still being used in various criminal ways by the elites as a sort of grapevine to serve their purposes and not for helping humanity.

There was a long time between the fall of the old Solar world and the invention of writing. The earlier Solar culture apparently was destroyed beginning around 4,500 BC and writing was invented around 1,000 BC. This leaves a 3,500 year period when the Saturnist criminals learned to use the very old Solar symbolic language for their purposes. We are currently living in a Saturnistic paradigm or “matrix” written in the symbolic code of the earlier Druid or Atlanteans. The movie called The Matrix was a message from a modern bard telling us, like its character Neo (the new man), to decode this matrix and use the knowledge against the Saturnists who have appropriated it. By a unique mix of life experiences, I have learned to decode the symbolic language and gain some familiarity with the old wisdom. Others like Verne, Lovecraft, Tolkien and Wagner have also done this. It is the language of the bards, and the bards are still here, although rather powerless in the modern world. The real power is with the masses of ordinary people.

The same force that brought the Saturnists into power three zodiacal ages ago will soon greatly diminish Saturnist and elite power.  This is why the elites are acting so strangely. Because the Saturnist priests know the earlier and older wisdom, they know this change will happen. Essentially, we are seeing Judas trying to hold onto his 30 pieces of silver when Jesus is returning. The civilization was thought, by the the ancient wisdom, to be a living organism that moves through (mainly 4) definite life phases as it ages. The builders of this old wisdom apparently believed the civilization leaves adolescence and becomes an adult sometime near the boundary between the ages of Pisces and Aquarius—the current time.

CHAPTER 1

EARLY OBSERVATIONS

Often, while reading an old religious text or myth over the years, I had the thought that the constellations were involved in a way that is below the reader's consciousness. I felt there was some sort of information hidden in the story having to do with the constellations.  As an example, let me very briefly summarize the Egyptian story of Isis and Osiris from Plutarch. This story will be used again in the following pages.

Geb and Nut had 5 children, Osiris (a good son), Osiris's sister and wife Isis, Set (the bad son), Set’s sister and wife Nepthys, and lastly “Horus the Elder.”  Before a party, Set prepares a coffin that is exactly Osiris's size. At the party, Set states the coffin will be his gift to whomever it fits best. In turn, each person at the party steps inside the coffin to see whom it fits and when Osiris gets his turn, it fits him best.  He is proclaimed the winner and while Osiris is still inside, Set’s associates nail the door shut, seal the coffin and throw it into the Nile River. The coffin floats down the Nile until it hits a stone. Osiris dies. Isis frantically searches after the coffin and when she finds it, a tree has grown up through it. She turns into a hummingbird and flies around the tree and later resurrects Osiris. During this time, the evil Set has taken over the kingdom and ruled in the place of Osiris.

I knew the Egyptians thought of the constellation we call Orion as Osiris. The constellation we call Canis Major they called Isis. The constellation we call Lepus they called Set. I knew the sky well enough to remember there is a river constellation close-by, Eridanus.  Eridanus must be the Nile. If one travels down the river constellation Eridanus, one passes first the three stars in the belt of Orion which could be the pyramids. One then passes a large beast, Cetus, that is probably the Sphinx. At the end of Eridanus viewed from the northern hemisphere there is Andromeda which might be Osiris on a table when Isis is trying to resurrect him. Close by, there is a constellation we call Cygnus, the swan, which would be the hummingbird. The horse Pegasus is likely Horus, the resurrected Osiris.

In this story, we encountered about 8 constellations that match the story, mainly between Taurus and Pisces, generally following the zodiac left to right across the northern hemisphere sky. There is another old story, this time Indo-European, the story of Siegfried's Rhine journey from Germanic mythology. Siegfried is raised by a dwarf that forges him a sword, he then travels down the Rhine River and kills a dragon, getting a ring from the dragon's lair. Further on his journey he encounters a girl, Kriemhilde and her brother king Gunther. He then runs into a bad knight named Hagen and gets killed. A warrior maiden Brunhilde rides her horse, Grane, into his funeral pyre bringing on the end of their world.  In terms of the constellations, Siegfried  is probably Orion. The dragon is Cetus, Kriemhilde is Cassiopeia, Gunther is Cepheus, Hagen would be Lepus, the Rhine is Eridanus, the warrior maiden is Andromeda, the horse is Pegasus. Regarding the ring, there is an asterism, M31, the Andromeda Galaxy, that appears to be a ring or shackle on the arm or hand of the Andromeda constellation that might be a band holding Andromeda to the Square of Pegasus. This could be the ring of Siegfried and others. It could also be a fetter holding Prometheus to the square rock Pegasus while Cygnus would be the bird eating his liver. In the Siegfried story, Siegfried dies in the same place as Osiris, at the Pisces/Aquarius boundary.

In this story, we have encountered about 7 matching constellations mainly between Taurus and Pisces moving in the same direction around the zodiac. In both cases the main character dies at Pisces/Aquarius.

Let us take a third story from Greek mythology, that of Perseus and Andromeda. Andromeda's parents chain her to a rock to placate the god Poseidon. A sea monster close by is about to kill her. Perseus sees this, so he bravely breaks the binding and frees the girl. Perseus, Andromeda, both parents (Cassiopeia and Cepheus), the sea monster (Cetus), and the band, M31, the Andromeda Galaxy, are all found in the sky between Taurus and Pisces. This time the constellations are easy to find, because the constellations hold the same Greek names that are found in the story.

Here is a summary of these connections between the stories and the constellations in the sky:

These three very different old stories seem to have been told using the constellations as a “memory jog” or “memory aid” moving from left to right across the sky.  This method is similar to the way most languages are written.  The “left to right” writing method may have originated in a “left to right” method of looking at the constellations while telling a story.

Old stories like these were thought to have been passed on by word of mouth and then recorded when writing was invented.  It is possible parts were left out of the stories when being passed down to us. Also, when the stories were composed, it may not have been important that they made an exact fit with the constellations.

I felt there are many parts of old stories that seem to have some meaning or connection possibly related to the constellations that is not immediately evident. In Virgil's Aneid, a golden bough is presented to a sybil for a tour of the underworld. Another bough is presented by Odysseus for underworld access in the Iliad. In Frazer's Golden Bough, a part of a tree's branch is presented to the reigning King of the Wood as a challenge from a potential new King of the Wood. A Cedar branch begins the battle in Gilgamesh. In the bible, Eve takes an apple from a tree and begins the "Fall of Humanity." What is the significance of this tree or branch?

There are similar things going on with heels in old stories. Orion gets stung in the heel while Achilles has his only point of weakness in his heel. Krishna gets shot in the heel. Odin gets hung from his heel. Could all these stories refer to the same constellation?  Could they refer to a constellation that appears to have an arm or heel hanging from or touching a tree?

Stories that fit the constellations began to fascinate me. Also, I observed the use of the constellations in ancient stories always seemed to be in some standard but unknown order.

After years of having this idea in the back of my mind, my reading eventually went through a medieval "knight and dragon" phase and I began to read Arthurian texts. Most Arthurian texts did not clearly follow the constellations, except for one, Wolfram Von Eschenbach's Parzival. Eschenbach, thought by some to be a Templar Knight, wrote a story of the life of a knight named Parzival from before birth until he becomes the Grail king. I immediately recognized that Eschenbach had used a large number of the constellations but in the reverse order of the classics from the ancient world. When Eschenbach's order of constellations is reversed, one gets the order used in the Bible, the Isis/Osiris story, and other old texts. Eschenbach's constellations not only included a number of the 12 familiar zodiac signs but many of the other constellations in the northern hemisphere sky. When Eschenbach wrote Parzival, astronomers used a collection of 48 constellations thought to go back to observations made in Egypt by Ptolemy. I could almost get the ancient sequential order from Eschenbach. It was as if this old Templar Knight, Eschenbach, was hiding the secret to the most ancient mythology between the lines.

Expanding my study of Arthurian subjects, I moved from the Grail to the Spear of Longinus.  I purchased Ravenscroft's Spear of Destiny. This book is about the spear that supposedly pierced Christ's side on the cross. Charlemagne and others were interested in the spear. In the chapter titled "ABC's of the Occult," Ravenscroft wrote that Hitler had a well worn text of Parzival that had the page margins covered with notes. Ravenscroft also wrote that there was an occult system in the Parzival book based on the constellations. I wondered why Hitler, of all people, had studied this book. I later concluded that Hitler learned at least part of an ancient story written in the stars and discovered how to reconstruct the original “Saturnistic" or “snake” religion for his own goals! The ancient world before writing had two ideological poles like the modern yin and yang. Hitler was reconstructing the mental and materialist ideology associated with the snake and Saturn that opposed the hearty, compassionate spirituality associated with the bird and the Sun. The Annanake (ancestral Semites) and the Annanerbe (ancestral Arryans) are one and the same. This is why the NAZIs used the Cabala in their rituals. Hitler was rebuilding the potent and original Satanism or Saturnism! By "Satanism" I here mean the ideology related to the part of "Set" in the Isis/Osiris/Set story described above and found in Plutarch. Set was a murderous betrayer. By "Satanic" I mean being a murderous betrayer and opposer of the Solar values of compassion and integrity. Hitler must have known the common history of the Aryan-Greek and Semitic religions with an earlier Set or Saturn, culture.

By discovering the previous old Solar world view, before Saturnism, Hitler correctly identified our world as a Saturnistic arms race of religions! All modern religions are Saturnistic or Satanic. These religions, with the sacred being off the planet are inversions of the sacred being here on earth. The old Solar and heart-based culture was world wide and fell because of its extreme non-violence! The conquerors changed and modified the old world view into what we call "religions."  These "religions" are a sort of inverted and weaponized version of the old Solar culture. Religions with the sacred away somewhere are mind-based. This inverted view could be used for world conquest and enslavement.  In the modern world we can see the weaponizing still going on in the terror schools. The old Solar world view was inverted in a plan to rule the world. From birth, many moderns are programmed with the beliefs of their parents, beliefs that always happen to include the objectification of state enemies. After the fall of the Solar culture, the entire world could be in theory conquered by making successively more dominant and violent religions and people. Religion as weapon was first created during the fall of the ancient Solar world civilization. The old world was on a time schedule expecting a change around 4479 BC. It was very much like the current modern time when our civilization is similarly expecting a change. Most modern battle-religions, like Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Mormonism, trace their founding to about 4,000 BC because these religions were made by the persons, the Saturnists, that inverted the earlier Solar culture and supplied the change long ago. It was simply a matter of violent people conquering peaceful people. Just as Constantine rallied troops around the Christian cross, Hitler used the Swastika to rally his troops. World War II was a religious war. Hitler must have understood the original relationship between Jesus and Siegfried. Jesus and Siegfried were both in very ancient times names for a Cosmos that died and resurrected as you and I and all life. This was the original meaning of death and resurrection! Life and Humanity was in ancient days...Sacred! The old Solar culture held life and Humanity was the sacred resurrection of a spirit. This idea has been destroyed and exploited by the rulers of the world throughout subsequent history ever since a massacre of gentle people around 6,000 years ago! Hitler didn't resurrect the very old sacredness of Life and Humanity but planned to invert again the very old Solar story to get the original Saturnism that brutalized the ancient world. The character that killed Christ was Judas and the character that killed Siegfried was Hagen. Hitler correctly understood Judas and Hagen to be the same mythological character. This provided the idea that Siegfried could be a Germanic Christ for a newer German battle religion like Christianity.

After I had made some of these notions, I purchased Ravenscroft's book on Parzival and the constellations, The Cup of Destiny.  Ravenscroft believed the Parzival text used only the 12 constellations from the zodiac beginning in Aries. This is clearly not correct. I knew that a much larger and more general group of constellations were used beginning with Virgo and proceeding (for Eschenbach’s book) in planetary direction, right to left across the northern hemisphere sky.

I realized I was on the trail of the religion builders. I began to study Christian materials. Months later, I was driving and listening to the radio. I changed to a religious channel and heard part of Doctor James Kennedy's audio version of his Gospel in the Sky. He was describing Bootes, a constellation related to Virgo. My girlfriend's daughter is a Virgo and had looked up Virgo's father, Bootes, on the internet. She had earlier read a description of Bootes to me and it sounded like a description of Parzival's father, Gahmuret, right out of Eschenbach's Parzival text. Doctor Kennedy explained there were 36 ordered "decanate" constellations along with the 12 zodiacal constellations that were recorded in the work of the Venerable Bede, a Christian monk. Dr.Kennedy's Gospel in the Sky was based on Bede's order, which is the ancient order reversed. I later discovered the order is almost common and often used in astrological readings. I was not interested in astrology; I was interested in decoding old religious texts. The constellations and planets in my studies are used only as an aid to memory and any influence they may have on us is not even considered.  Eschenbach had used Bede's order in those days to make his work appear "Christian" and conceal the ancient secret to unlock the way the bards used the sky. By reversing Bede's list and grouping of the constellations, we get the names, order and grouping of the 48 constellations used in ancient texts like the Eddas, Vedas and the Bible. All these texts and others are made of earlier story fragments that can now be restored to their original sequence. The older system had to be destroyed! This order was devised thousands of years before Bede and Eschenbach.  Bede may have reversed the earlier order of the older stories to try to hide them.  Bede assisted in the medieval weapons project by hiding the peaceful old world view. People were killing in the name of the church and Bede was an accomplice in making it happen. The older story of Jesus ben Pantera is actually found by reading constellations in the opposite of Bede’s direction. One reads of medieval monks like Bede studying alchemy. Alchemy is a hidden language that describes “boots on the ground” prosperity for the ancient world through the ages of Taurus, Aries and Pisces. "Massacre of the Innocents" for example is an alchemical motif found in the stained glass of the Sainte Chapelle in Paris built to house religious relics. The motif probably describes the beginning of the three ages, when Baall or the bull of Taurus took over. Alchemy, cathedral construction, old texts and the constellations are all related.

Parzival is the story of a complete human life from conception to becoming a Grail King. I later discovered this is the kind of story that has been reversed in the constellations of the night sky! It is a complete single human life mapped onto the constellations. Parzival learns compassion. If one could write a Parzival, reversing the order of its constellations and moving in precessional order, one would get a complete story like those told at the old Ziggurats or Pyramids! The ancients were extreme humanists! In the story of Oedipus, the Sphinx asked "What riddle is its own answer?" The correct answer was "Man." This answer is described in the sky, starting with Leo and Virgo, which combine to make a Sphinx. The secret story hidden in ancient texts is told with the zodiac and decanate constellations in the order one can find reversed in Bede.

By having the order of the constellations, added information coming from their relationships becomes available. They are no longer disorganized in the sky. I had then three sources to help me interpret them:

1. Behavior or qualities of the character or animal depicted by the constellation

2. Stories and mythology of the character or animal depicted by the constellation

3. Relationships to other constellations, we can now conclude for example, that for some reason, Pegasus follows Cygnus. 

This work connects our culture to the ancient world. When I write, I need to use a large number of often forgotten, arcane or unknown terms and stories. Do not let this hinder your reading of the material. Plow right through them. Try to get the big picture. There are readers who have labored for years to understand terms like the Dagon or the Sphinx. I can put a lot of light on these subjects by using these terms along the way. I am sewing Osiris back together!  I am using these strange terms to connect different people to the old body of knowledge.  I will have a sometimes technical sounding language but the ideas are not really that complex. A term is often presented just to link it to someone's field of experience. Look for a connection made in your experience and start with that. If the Dagon has no meaning to you, focus on linking the Sphinx to your experience.

After much further study, two facts became evident. First, the ancients were gentle humanists that believed Life and Humanity were sacred. Second, they and their culture were brutally destroyed. During periods of meditation I could feel what evil it must have taken to betray them and move the sacred away from Life and Humanity into outer space or up a mountain. During such meditation I sometimes had amazing visions of ancient violence. If the reader once understands what the death and resurrection of the Cosmos (or equivalently the death and resurrection of Osiris, Jesus or others) in Pisces/Aquarius means, then this horrible betrayal will become evident to them also. Today we have a world culture of man as a "human resource." This is the story of when this profane type of thinking destroyed the old world. Life used to be...sacred! Jesus is... You and I! The death and resurrection used to mean that the Sacred Cosmos died and became You and I and all Life! This is why in some remote areas of the world people still greet each other as if praying to one another. We live with Osiris. We walk with Osiris in the cool of the night. The greeting "Hello Sir!" is probably an old reference to two of the old Cosmoses--Helios and Osiris! These ideas are remnants of what I call the old Sacred Humanism culture. The most interesting part is that according to my reconstruction of this ancient culture, the spirit of these old people will resurrect in the current modern age we are approaching. Jesus, not a "God," but the dead Cosmos, will resurrect in you and I, as will Osiris and others. Jesus, Ishtar and Osiris were names, among very many from the Ancient World, for the singular Cosmos that died and became the world. The modern "God" of the bible, especially the Old Testament, is none other than Set from the Isis, Osiris and Set story preserved by Plutarch. This is why through the many years since the ancient world, modern religions have earned their reputation for violence and greed. By their fruits we shall know them. Because they have moved the sacred off the earth they are incapable of treating people properly. We are not consumers, we are human beings. The sacred in Life and Humanity was long ago moved away from us for the purposes we see today--greed and exploitation.

The church has been from its beginning part of a project to rule the world. Church types are having their final battle on the world stage today. It does not change the facts that we should "Love one another." Feed the poor." and "Heal the sick." Many medieval monks were aware of this origin and plan but the subject was a management secret. It was blasphemy to discuss the older world view and the truth behind the church. Medieval monks and scholars learned to hide the subject in alchemy, a supposed science of turning lead into gold. Some of the alchemical text is found in the sculpture and medallions at Notre Dame Cathedral. Let us look at the Catholic church’s bank account controlled by the Rothschilds. This is the magical gold of Alchemy! If one studies the architecture of old cathedrals, like Notre Dame in Paris, or Rosslyn in Scotland, one can decode Bardic Astronomy and eventually find alchemy hidden in their construction. The Templars who built them were close to the reigning individual, we could call him “Doctor Evil” behind the scenes executing his master plan. The entrance to Notre Dame in Paris has a series of alchemical bas-reliefs and medallions on each side. They have been an alchemical mystery. Medieval alchemy is not a simple subject but I plan to include enough interpretation for a person to get an understanding of the meaning of some of these medallions and some other aspects of the building's construction.

CHAPTER 2

THE ANCIENT FRAMEWORK

After discovering the list and order of the constellations suggested by Eschenbach's Parzival, I could apply this framework to the fragments of old religious texts.  Parzival begins and ends at Virgo/Leo.  Using this same place for the beginning and end but moving in the direction of the old stories like the Isis, Osiris and Set story from Plutarch, I recovered an ordered list of constellations that were used long ago for telling stories, before the written word.

Here is the ordered list of the 12 zodiacal constellations , each with their three related constellations in order used by the bards from the Ancient World.

 1.  LEO: Raven, Crater (The Cup),  Hydra...

 2. CANCER:  Argos (The Ship), The Big Bear, The Little Bear...

 3.  GEMINI:   The Little Dog, The Big Dog, The Hare...

 4.  TAURUS: The Charioteer,  Eridanus (The River),  Orion (The Hunter)...

 5.  ARIES:  Perseus (The Hero), Cetus (The Sea Monster), Cassiopeia (The Queen)...

These were the 48 constellations used to hold and transmit the culture of the ancient world.  The planets and the sun move on a line going through 12 of these constellations called the ecliptic.  These special twelve constellations are the "Zodiac signs" of Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus, Aries, Pisces, Aquarius, Sagittarius, Scorpio, Libra and Virgo. Generally, when viewed from the northern hemisphere, the planets move right to left through the zodiac signs. The equinoxes and solstices were also observed by the ancients. The equinoxes and solstices are phenomenon having to do with the Earth’s orbit around the Sun. Equinoxes are the two days each year when the length of the day equals the length of night. Solstices are the two days each year when the Sun seems to stand still and not keep getting higher or lower in the sky.  When these equinoxes or solstices occur, the Sun is somewhere on the ecliptic. The equinoxes and solstices were found to move left to right, the opposite direction of the planets, through the Zodiacal constellations. The ancients discovered that the Sun’s positions during these times moved around the zodiacal circle over a very long period—which is called the Great Year or Platonic Year. This long period is 25,920 of our ordinary years. The “Zodiacal Age” is determined by the location of the Sun during the spring equinox. We have just moved from the “Age of Pisces” to the “Age of Aquarius.” The ancients, for their stories, followed the same order as the Zodiacal Ages through the constellations. The old stories move the same way we read, from left to right across the sky.

The ordering of the twelve zodiacal constellations left 36 other remaining constellations around the night sky.  The ancients seem to have started with Leo and considered each zodiacal constellation, moving left to right, and assigned it remaining non zodiacal constellations, three per zodiacal constellation, trying to ignore the distance of the constellation above or below the ecliptic.

Trying to use this method ourselves to order the remaining constellations, there are places where it can be hard for us to recover the order used by the ancient people. Two of the remaining constellations may appear to be above one another. There may be one constellation above and one constellation below the zodiac constellation. A remaining constellation may also be high and close to the North Pole which makes it appear to be above many of the zodiac constellations. By reversing Bede's order, we resolve these difficulties in ordering the remaining constellations.

As an example of the helpfulness of reversing Bede's order, let us consider Ursa Minor and Ursa Major, the "Little Dipper" and the "Big Dipper," one is hesitant about ordering them because they are far away from the ecliptic. Our pole star, Polaris, is in the Ursa Minor constellation! By using Bede's order reversed, we get the following order for these and a few other close-by decanates.

Argos, Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Canis Minor, Canis Major.

In English these are; The Ship, The Big Bear The Little Bear, The Little Dog, The Big Dog.  The ancient storyteller probably said...and "x" loaded the ship with two of each animal, two Bears, two Dogs and so on until he had all animals....This is part of the Noah's Ark story! This story fragment using constellations from a far older civilization is recovered because we now have the original order.

As another example let us consider the following sequence of constellations from the reverse of Bede's order.

Eridanus, Orion, Perseus, Cetus, Cassiopeia, Cephius Andromeda.

In English these are;  The River,  The Hunter, The Hero, The Sea Monster, The Queen, The King. The storyteller probably said...and "x" placed the basket into the river (Eridanus), the basket containing Moses(Orion), and it floated into Pharaoh’s Court past the Sphinx (Cetus) where the queen (Cassiopeia) and king (Cephius)of Egypt  live.... This is the story of the childhood of Moses also from the Bible!

A large number of fragments can thus be found by having this order and understanding what it means. Bede's medieval work was about a Christian interpretation of the stars and it reversed the older order. After Bede presented it, resources were probably spent and crimes committed by the church to make the Christian version replace the older system.

After years of work finding and combining such fragments, I have made some discoveries. Many know this story; Jesus was crucified and died shortly after a Passover dinner in the house of the water bearer (Aquarius). He died between two thieves. Later he returned to life, pushing a stone aside, emerging from a cave.

Jesus dies at Pisces/Aquarius. Imagine the thieves on their crosses as lines on each side of Pisces/Aquarius. Below Pisces Aquarius is the circle of constellations that never rise. This circle of constellations is the cave from which Jesus resurrected!

One may think the significance of this is not that great. So what? I've been able to fit a Bible story to a few constellations and a sky phenomenon. The surprise is that Osiris dies at Pisces/Aquarius also. He was put in a coffin (Orion) which floated down the Nile (Eridanus). Osiris then died and a tree grew up through the coffin. The end of Eridanus (the River) is below Pisces/Aquarius. The two sides of the tree in the Osiris story match the crosses on which the two thieves were crucified beside Jesus. Samson pushed down two columns and died, one could say between two lines. Jacob rested his head on a stone (the stone that Jesus pushed aside after his resurrection) and had a dream of a ladder extending up to heaven. The bards from all over the world used the same structure to memorize their stories! These ancient storytellers also imagined two lines in the sky; one line from Pisces to Leo and one line from Aquarius to Virgo! What was this about? These two lines can be used to connect many more stories to this area of the sky. The sides of the Druid Oak are also the sides of Jacob's Ladder. Those that are students of Astro-Theology and ancient symbols should seriously study this pillar in the sky. The lines are old astronomy; they are the rotational axis of the Milky Way galaxy mapped onto the zodiac.

In the Jacob's Ladder story, the bottom of the ladder was resting on a stone and the top was in heaven. The word "stone" means "opposer." Stone is the opposer of spirit. Words like Satan, Saturn, Set, stone and others are opposers of spirit. Because the bottom of Jacob's Ladder rests in the area of Pisces/Aquarius this area is associated with stone or matter. Because the top of Jacob's Ladder extends up into heaven, the area of Virgo/Leo was associated with spirit.

The ancients lived between these two poles of spirit and matter. At the top of the two lines just described, one finds the Sphinx which is the combination of a girl (Virgo) and a lion (Leo). At the bottom of the two lines, one finds the Dagon which is a combination of a fish (Pisces) and a man (Aquarus). The Sphinx is the symbol of one side of the sky and the Dagon is the symbol of the other side. The Sphinx is then a symbol of spirit and the Dagon is then a symbol of the opposer of spirit.

The Dagon is a mythological character that opposes spirit like Set or Satan or Saturn.  One could say these opposers are not devils walking around with pitchforks and pointed tails that are meant to vex us, they are mythological symbols that represent simply opposers of spirit.

The text fragments that use the constellations, when ordered, describe the time phases of a human life.  The description starts with spirit, moves to matter then returns to spirit. It is not just a simple story, but many stories embedded in our literature with the phases held constant while diverse themes are explored. Their world consisted of life. The modern word atom is probably an obscured version of some old story about Adam. They had an atomic theory, but their atom was alive! This principle extends to cosmology and history and all sorts of subjects. There were Einsteins of the Ancient World that studied many diverse subjects and recorded their results in stories. These results can sometimes be resurrected by resequencing fragments from our literature. Persons substituted a life form "x" into the various different life descriptions to learn more about the life form "x". They considered everything in a state of life until its expected normal death at Virgo/Leo. Our word "matter" for example is related to the word "mother." Science was science about life to the ancients. The old life science is described in the fragments of old literature and religion that can be ordered by the sky.

In the 1800's, Geothe revealed some of his understanding of the old science of phases. In Goethe's Faust, Faust has his retort heating and combining various substances. Out of this brew, a Homunculus, a little man, grew. Goethe's alchemist was trying to change the temporal life phase of the matter in the retort. This was Goethe telling us the story ordered by the sky is about life phases! Criminals had appropriated the very old Solar culture and inverted it, producing Saturnism, Satanism, Setism or Dagonism. The solar motifs were broken up and put out of order in the bible and in other religious texts. In medieval times, Alchemy was the study of the inversion of the older Solar spirituality. Turning lead into gold is materialism. The old solar source was hidden in the masonry of Notre Dame Cathedral.  I partially decoded stories of Noah and Moses above.  The inversion is the primary church management secret. The inversion of the ancient world view I am describing here was being secretly transmitted in the church through alchemy, in descriptions about changing a Homunculus by heating and so on.  Around 800 AD, many were making discoveries about the old world so Bede published a reversed order and changed grouping of the constellations. The church management is and was all wound up with a Saturn cult, a cult of materialism or what is technically Satanism. The sky holds the older and more general theory. Almost our whole world (described in the movie The Matrix) has been manufactured for us by the rulers who have appropriated an earlier culture and are using it for their purposes and not ours. In the movies, when Indiana Jones finds the "Lost Ark of the Covenant," it was at the end taken by the government--the elites--and  put in a warehouse for them alone to study. The Ark is none other than the Pegasus constellation, the lines extending from its four corners are the poles used to carry it across the underworld. This part of the movie is a statement from the bards in Hollywood about our current situation! We are like sheep and the Saturnist elites are like farmers. We are the Ancient Wisdom people that have been enslaved and mislead for the purposes of our rulers. The reason the leaders are building bunkers and are stealing everything is because their old science describes a major change to THEIR world. In the Age of Aquarius, or slightly before, possibly now, Osiris will resurrect as Horus and will successfully challenge Set, the current ruler of our world. Horus will give Set his first defeat in three zodiacal ages! This is a metaphorical story about many things, one of which is a cultural force that occurs in the organism at the end of its adolescence, that is, at the current time in the life of our civilization.

THE BARD’S ASTRONOMY AND ANCIENT SPIRITUALITY

When the ancient bards told a story, they used this old order to help remember the story parts. The bards from all over the globe evidently went around the sky, beginning at Virgo/Leo, in a very loose type of “3 steps forward and 1 step back” method until they were back to Virgo/Leo and the story ended. This is what I will refer to as the “Bardic Protocol.” One constellation might have multiple uses in a story while others were left completely unused.

The bards not only knew the stories that held the culture but they knew old astronomy and probably were the keepers of the old navigatation science. In stories with the Bardic Protocol not only constellations were referenced in the sky, but other abstract constructs with astronomical foundations. The most handy example of this is of two lines crossing the zodiac, one at Pisces/Aquarius and the other at Virgo Leo. One line goes from Pisces to Leo and the other goes from Aquarius to Virgo. In nstories these sometimes make the sides of a ladder. They are the two thieves that Christ was crucified between. They are the pillars that Samson pushed down. They are sometimes the trunk of a tree. These lines are also the major axis of the Milky Way galaxy. These two lines are the symbolic source of the two towers in front of a church and the two towers of 9-11. These two lines are the rotational axis of the galaxy mapped onto the zodiac.

Another example of an abstract construct in the Bard’s astronomy is found below Pisces/Aquarius. There was thought to be a circular area, like a room there. This is the grotto that Grindl retreats into. It is the cave from which Christ resurrects. This cave is the astronomical circle of constellations below the horizon that never rise. Above Virgo/Leo was thought to be another circle also, this is the circle of constellations that never set. This upper circle was where King Arthur’s round table was located. It is the place from which Zeus sent a gadfly to sting the flying horse Pegasus.  A third example of the Bard’s astronomy is within the upper room there was a crown with a missing gem. The gem was found in the lower room. These two places were where the earth’s poles circle as the planet slowly wobbles. The missing gem above was spiritual and the gem found below was material.

Over the long years before writing, the constellations became known by their memorable parts in the old bardic stories.  Today we can go around the sky, and for most constellations, recover an associated story from very old stories that use the Bardic Protocol that have been since recorded after the invention of writing.  Pegasus, for example, is in the story of Bellerophon. Cetus is in the Perseus and Andromeda story. Capricorn is in the Capricorn story about Pan. For most constellations in the sky we can find a story that not only fits the shape, but fits it into the old order.

The ancients had a system of spirituality based in this way on the constellations. If you were a young bard and wanted to study life and grow spiritually, you would go around the sky and understand the meanings of the constellations in the various stories.

The constellation Lepus was Set betraying his brother Osiris at Gemini/Taurus. It was an example of early childhood changing to adolescence.

Perseus releases Andromeda at Pisces/Aquarius. This was an example of becoming an adult.

Paris shoots Achilles from behind a pillar and overcomes his childhood orientation (Orion) by shooting his arrow from Sagittarius/Scorpio. This is a person entering into late adulthood.

These three boundaries just described are probably the origin of the three major “degrees” in our schools. I believe these boundaries are the ancestors of the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees offered by universities. These three transitions are also probably the original journeyman, apprentice and master levels in Masonic guilds

To understand the prior civilization’s spiritual and mental view, one should look at the constellations as a descriptive system of the phases of a living organism.

There is also a cosmology and a spiritual history that can be extracted from the sky by building a mosaic of story fragments linked by the constellations. These things will be mentioned in passing until later chapters when I will describe them in more detail.

The constellations appear to have been named by the stories that best used them. I believe the asterism we call “Orion” was named by the Orion story. The asterism we call “Perseus” and the asterism we call “Andromeda” both became named by the Perseus and Andromeda story. The asterism we call “Capricorn” was named by the story of Capricorn. Most of our stories of the constellations, our Orion story for example, our Perseus and Andromeda story and our Capricorn story appear to have been parts of longer stories that began in Leo and ended in Virgo.

Do not think that you have to memorize all the shapes of the obscure constellations and struggle with the sky charts to learn this body of knowledge. Often, the sky was not visible and people composed stories based on commonly known descriptions of constellations they may not have seen. The constellation Cassiopeia for example is usually a woman sitting on a chair or throne. Besides being Circe from Homer's Odyssey, it is also likely Kremhilde sitting in Gunther's court from Germanic mythology, and a noble woman, probably Nepthys, sitting in the Egyptian court of Isis and Osiris. It is easy to remember this constellation as a woman seated on a chair if you know these connections. Some of the old storytellers, Homer for example, may have been blind. Creativity was usually concentrated on the most visible constellations like Orion and Ursa Major or Pegasus.

The constellations are like the gargoyles, statues and medallions in places like Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. I am like the Hunchback of Notre Dame, a Quasimoto, I have learned to swing in and out of the constellations, I have learned Notre Dame's medallions and the cathedral in the sky. For now, let me do the work of climbing and swinging hang on and enjoy the view.

RACHEL CORRIE AS DOVE

To the Ancients, wise women and girls let us call them Virgos--were persons who correctly understood that all Life and Humanity was Sacred and that Compassion was of highest importance. This view when combined with the lion’s strength was symbolized by the Sphinx. These girls and women were commonly used for advice. They were the original sources of the later Oracles at Delphi and the priestesses of the Athenian and other cultures. This is why the robes of our priests and judges appears to be a woman's gown. These tasks were originally done by women. Men took over these tasks when the civilization moved into its adolescence and fell into materialist violence rather than spiritual peace. Walled cities became necessary to keep out religiously enchanted people. People before the first walled cities lived with the sacred, each other. The change in world civilization that was the last apocalypse occurred when the spring eqiunox was at the boundary between the spiritual and material sides of the sky.

THE HERCULES CONSTELLATION

All persons and living beings were thought to begin on the side of the Sphinx, considering life to be sacred as a child, and then fall into the paradigm of materialism at adolescence. These persons would later become a materialistic adult on the earthly side of the Dagon. As these persons grew older, they were thought to eventually climb out of the underworld pit of material identification they had made at Pisces/Aquarius. You can see them climbing out of the underworld of material identification in the Hercules constellation above. Hopefully these people would make it all the way back to the Sphinx at Virgo/Leo.  Climbing out of the underworld at the constellation Hercules means they have become wise adults that are again compassionate and again believe that all life is Sacred.

Each point around the zodiacal circle is a point in one's life. Halfway around the circle is the change from childhood to adulthood. Constellations (decanates), usually close to the zodiac constellations described above are used to enhance the description of the life phase. For example, Pegasus is the second decanate of Aquarius. The stories about Pegasus from the ancient world have to do in some way with young adulthood. Consider the story of Bellerophon, who tried to fly the horse Pegasus (a decanate of Aquarius) to heaven and was tossed off the horse and fell to his death. Thinking heaven to be a material place is a belief of this young adult's time phase. Pegasus is also the tower of Babel, used in a similar plan to get to heaven by material means.

The first half of life, conception, birth, childhood and adolescence, begins at the Sphinx of Virgo/Leo and ends at the Dagon of Pisces/Aquarius. The second half of life, early adulthood, late adulthood and finally death, begins at the Dagon and ends at the Sphinx.

One could imagine there is some boundary between the material and spiritual sides of the sky. What happens in mid-childhood, at Gemini/Taurus? This is the change from early childhood to adolescence. It is the time when a child begins to leave spirit "behind" and become enchanted by the material world. The girls begin to wear make-up in an attempt to improve their boundless beauty. The boys become manipulative in an attempt to control those that love them.

What happens in mid-adulthood, at Sagittarius/Scorpio?  It is the time when an adult has learned some lessons from life and has decided to follow the heart rather than the mind. They have learned the folly of manipulation and materialism. It is the return to identifying with spirit.

The part of life I have diagramed as "Leaving Spirit" is the transition from early childhood to late childhood. This is the fall into adolescence when we decide the world is a material place. We fall into the material paradigm. Later in life there is a "Return to Spirit" which is the transition from early adulthood to later adulthood. This is when we decide to follow our heart rather than the mind. One can draw a line across this diagram and make two realms, an underworld realm of separation from the heart and a heavenly realm of connection to the heart.

The ancients had an abstract boundary-line in the sky dividing the two realms of spirit and matter. The spiritual realm is on the side of the Sphinx of Leo/Virgo. The material realm is on the side of the Dagon of Pisces/Aquarius. The boundary-line across the sky is the Milky Way. This can be seen on a clear night as a dense band of stars. This boundary line is sometimes called the Veil that separates the two worlds. The "Mists of Avalon" was crossed for the civilization between the civilization-ages of Gemini and Taurus. The cosmos passed from mostly spirit to mostly matter between the cosmos-ages of Gemini and Taurus.

The Milky Way consists of the stars of our local galaxy, which is called Andromeda. By making the Milky Way the boundary between the spiritual and material sides of the sky, the ancients at the same time made the rotational axis of Andromeda into the world tree. The world tree is the mapping of the rotational axis of the Andromeda galaxy onto the circle of the zodiac.  The poles of the world tree are the Sphinx and the Dagon. The world tree and the Milky Way then divides the zodiac into four parts.

Each zodiacal phase for a human being is about 3 years, for a civilization it is about 2160 years and for a cosmos each zodiacal phase is around a billion years.

If one reads Macrobius, in his "Saturnalia," the place that people were thought to leave heaven at birth was at Gemini/Taurus and the place where persons were thought to return to heaven at death was thought to be Sagittarius/Scorpio.  Macrobius wrote around 400 BC in an Aryan-Greek culture. This gentle system in the constellations was destroyed long before the time of Macrobius. These two places in the sky were boundaries in an old and lost stellar text, not material places. One could say that Macrobius was a stellar literalist like modern Biblical literalists. He thought that the boundary in the stellar text was the real place of separation of heaven and earth. The Aryans were great invaders. One could say Macrobius had inherited the ideology of an Aryan Greek. The idea that heaven is a material place was self serving propaganda and helped them and their descendants perform the heartless tasks needed for their invasions for thousands of years.

The top of the diagrams constructed earlier, being spiritual and on the side of Virgo was considered feminine. The bottom side of the diagrams, being materialistic and on the side of Aquarius, a young man, was considered masculine. If one combines a symbol for the feminine, a line for the Milky Way Veil, and a symbol for the masculine, one gets the Egyptian cross called the Ankh.

Virgo/Leo marks the beginning and end of life. Gemini/Taurus marks mid-childhood. Pisces/Aquarius marks the end of childhood and the beginning of adulthood. Sagittarius/Scorpio marks mid-adulthood. Like the seasons of the year, there are four major divisions in life.

Apocalypse means "unveiling" or "uncovering." In our lives, at the end of early childhood, adolescence is unveiled. At the end of adolescence, adulthood is uncovered and so on. Our fourfold division is here the four ages of apocalypse in a living individual.

The Cherub is a combination of four animals.  It symbolizes the four parts of life or the four seasons in a year or the four quarters of a Great Year. It is a composite from the constellations beginning each of the four divisions. The constellation we call Scorpio, the Scorpion, was an eagle to the people with this idea. Virgo/Leo gives us the Lion's body. Gemini/Taurus gives us the Bull's hooves.  Pisces/Aquarius gives us a Man's head. Sagittarius/Eagle gives us the Eagle's wings. Combined together we get the cherub.

There is a sort of science of making combination animals. The Minotaur being a combination of man and bull has adolescence as his domain. What we call an angel, a human with eagle's wings is the combination of man and eagle. This being has early adulthood as his or her domain. The griffin, being a combination of an eagle and a lion, has late adulthood as its domain. I imagine early childhood would be governed by a combination of a Lion and a Bull

The boundary between the spiritual side of the Sphinx and the material side of the Dagon is the Milky Way.  A spiritual three and then a material four were important to the ancients.  The “Seven Leberal Arts” of the ancient world were divided into a group of three called the “trivium” and a group of four called the “quadrivium.” To make things numerologically complete, they considered the Milky Way to be a boundary counted like the zodiacal constellations. So, they had seven steps from the Sphinx to the Dagon. They had seven steps from the Dagon to the Sphinx. The 4th step, the Milky Way, in terms of time is not really considered to have any duration, it is just a boundary.

These poles are not only in the constellations, they are found in the planets, as the Sun and Saturn. Besides this "seven" in the stars, the ancients observed seven heavenly bodies in the sky. Their names and order can be extracted from the names of the days of our week. In English we have Sunday (Sun), Monday (Moon), Tuesday (Tir's day related to Mars) , Wednesday (Wotan's day related to Mercury), Thursday (Thor's day related to Jupiter), Friday (Freia's day related to Venus) and Saturday (Saturn). These heavenly bodies ordered from ancient times were then Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn.

The heavenly bodies and the stars both had the poles of spirit and matter. The heavenly bodies also had the spiritual "three" and a material "four." The first three heavenly bodies, the Sun, Moon and Mars were the spiritual "three" and Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn were the material "four." The spiritual three begins with the spiritual Sun and the material four ends with the opposer Saturn. One may wonder where the wings on the shoes of Mercury come from—they come from the crosswise movement of the consciousness at Sagittarius/Scorpio. The Scorpio constellation was known as "the Eagle" to some.  The old stories of one flying across from Sagittarius/Scorpio to Gemini/Taurus at the 4th level are the reasons why Mercury is related to alchemical change. Mercury's winged shoes link the seven levels in the heavenly bodies to the seven levels in the constellations. The individual flies in his or her awareness from Sagittarius/Scorpio back to Gemini/Taurus where the first identification with material began. One flies there and sees the early beliefs were not correct and purges them. The flying was in some old story metaphorically described with winged shoes. This is a symbolic language that can be decoded and “read” by you and I with a little practice. Similarly, Mithras at some ancient time metaphorically flew from Sagittarius/Scorpio over to Gemini/Taurus and killed the bull of his childhood belief. Odin is another one related to Mercury.  Bullfighters today use a pick to kill the bull of Taurus and this pick is a version of Odin's spear.

If one looks at the decanate of Scorpio, Ophiucus, one can see Odin holding his spear. In the Parzival book, this constellation is described when Parzival is in the forest and a group of knights ride up. Parzival bows to them on one knee--the constellation Hercules. One of the knights then shows Parzival a lance. The knight holding the lance is again the constellation Ophiucus. This activity of destruction of early beliefs and consequent spiritual growth was in the age of Taurus changed into the creation of the world by the killing of the Bull. In this cosmology we live in the carcass of the dead Bull. The solar Mithras, was also made into a "god," and through killing a cosmic bull, killing was made"good." The Perseus myth changed to cosmology in this way was some of the first magic. Modern mythology as the study of "other people's gods" begins with Mithras.

 Because of atmospheric conditions, the moon sometimes appears to be blue. Mars is red in the sky. Venus was considered green. Because of its brilliance, the Sun was considered white. The "color" of Saturn was thought to be black. Our flag, being red, white and blue, has the colors of the spiritual three spiritual bodies of the Sun, Moon and Mars on it.

Returning to the constellations, if one moves from Leo down the left side of our circle diagram, through early childhood, across the Milky Way boundary, to the end of late childhood at Pisces, one gets 7 steps.

If one moves from Aquarius up the right side of our circle, through early adulthood, across the Milky Way boundary, to the end of late adulthood at Virgo, one also gets 7 steps.

It takes 7 steps beginning in Leo, for the completed child to come into existence at the end of Pisces. It takes 7 steps beginning in Aquarius, for the completed adult to come into existence at the end of Virgo.

These two directions, down and up, can be drawn with straight lines as suggested earlier as the sides of the world tree or Jacob's Ladder. The line from heaven down to the earth on the left side would be a line from Leo to Pisces. The line from earth up to heaven on the right side would be a line from Aquarius to Virgo.

These two lines are the sides of the first of two trees, the"tree of life." This tree of life extends from earth at the Dagon to heaven at the Sphinx. One Druid Sigil is a circle with two parallel lines through it. The same two lines of Jacob's Ladder are suggested by the two sticks on the Druid Sigil below.

The three marks on the Sigil above bring to my mind that at the end of the Roman Empire we had Seven Liberal Arts, those arts that liberate persons. These were divided into two classes, a spiritual "trivium" of Logic, Grammar and Rhetoric, and a material "quadrivium" of Astronomy, Music, Arithmetic and Geometry. These Seven Liberal arts, because they also have the three and four division, probably came from the ancient world.  What's spiritual about the areas of Logic, Grammar and Rhetoric? They seem to be presentation skills. The spirituality is missing. Perhaps the three original spiritual liberal arts have been long ago changed. Possibly the originals before “The Mists of Avalon,” before April 30, 4479 BC were related to the application of the ancient star wisdom to the Individual, the Civilization and the Cosmos.

Applying the phases from Pisces/Aquarius to Virgo/Leo to humans is the source of the Hindu chakras. The chakras are essentially the path from matter back to spirit. Applying all the phases to civilization is where the "ages" like "the Age of Pisces" came from.  Applying the phases to the cosmos is where our "seven step" creation cosmology originally came from. This is why Jesus has the Passover dinner before his death in the house of the water bearer, Aquarius. Jesus dies at the seventh step, and resurrects after Pisces/Aquarius. The Jesus story was originally old cosmology. The seven steps of "creation" were taken from the side of Jacob's Ladder from Leo to Pisces when the phases are applied to the Cosmos. Nearly all that is left of the seven steps of spiritual growth in the western world is a story of Jacob's ladder in the bible and images of Hermes or Mercury holding a caduceus.  Setists, Saturnists or Satanists do not want growth toward spirituality, they desire to remain in materialism. Worldwide, the rulers have never wished for everyone to become altruistic and gentle because it did not serve their goals.

At the bottom of the ladder or world tree one finds material or...stone. The word "stone," the name of the Egyptian mythological character Set, the names Satan and Saturn, are related words. These old names with an ST or STN in them mean "opposer." Stone, Set, Satan and Saturn all oppose spirit. This stone in later medieval times was described as the material inversion of the grail constellation at the top of the tree known as Crater, the cup. It was described as a stone that fell out of the crown (Corona) at the top of the world tree and that is now found in the grotto of constellations that never rise at the bottom of the world tree. The stone idea held the facts that the northern and southern polar axis precess around circles in the top and bottom of the world. The stone was missing from the crown constellation because the crown was on the spiritual side. The stone is found below (the earth) on the material side of the mapping.

This old system, when mapped onto the planets had Saturn oppose the Sun of Spirit. Of the seven heavenly bodies known in the ancient world, what we call the Sun was the associated with spirit and notmatter. Saturn, thought to be the farthest away from the Sun, was associated with the opposer of spirit, or stone.  The ancients were exploring the qualities of things, sort of a lost concept for moderns. They observed a "three" within themselves and a "four" in the world and also observed a "seven" in the sky and were trying to qualitatively connect them. Saturn is the lowest spiritual level and the Sun is the highest. The Druid priest at the bottom of the tree from Pisces/Aquarius to Virgo/Leo or his equivalent, the priest of Dagon, or priest of Saturn are what we today would call priests of Satan or materialism. Our priests not only come from these individuals, our priests ARE STILL these individuals!

The God of the modern church is not spirit. The God of the modern church is the opposer of spirit. The Bib-el is the book of Saturn. This is why so much violence is tolerated in the world. People are thought to be like their god, the opposer of spirit, so can be bent, folded spindled or mutilated. There are oil resources, coal resources and human resources in this world view.

In ancient times the growth steps of coming into and going out of material life were the normal life of the individual. The first seven steps were the childhood fall into the material world. The second seven steps were the adult ascent out of the material world.

Moving down into the world we descend through 7 spiritual levels and as an adult we ascend through 7 spiritual levels. We can name them by the 7 heavenly bodies from the ancient world.

Each planet had an associated color. These 7 colors were the Odinist "rainbow bridge" between earth and heaven. The planetary bodies are all discs in the sky, when translated to Sanskrit they became the "Chakras" that lead back to spirit.

The higher steps of spirit were a good part of ancient medicine. A decanate constellation of Scorpio, at the 5th step, is Ophiucus, the snake handler. This is the snake on the modern symbol of the Medical Arts. This level means one sees others as spirit and is learning to handle one's own life force. Evil and manipulative thoughts have been purged and this has a health and survival benefit.

In our modern materialistic world, a human is thought to be a created object and spiritual growth is abhorrent to success in the materialist creator's view. Spiritual growth toward compassion has been a thorn in the side of thuggish and greedy regimes since the fall of the Ancient World.  Cruel warriors were always preferred. Compassion was never useful for hoarding large bank accounts and building thick castle walls.

Spiritual activity is currently confused with material or physical activity. You may try to look like a Buddha when you meditate. You may run down the aisles at the church or stand at a wailing wall, muttering and making a little dance.  In the Ancient World everyone was thought to be a spirit. They didn't do these things to feel "spiritual."  During the fall of the Ancient World, the common idea that everyone was a Sacred Spirit was replaced.  

Eating from the Tree of Life in the center of the garden, which is essentially climbing the step system away from the Dagon or equivalently ascending the Chakras, became forbidden when the Ancient World fell.  In the older soul-ar view we are all the resurrected Jesus who died so life and love could exist.  Sometimes the tree is described as a mountain. Moses went up a mountain, Mt. Sinai, and received "spiritual knowledge." When the Ancient World fell, invaders made it forbidden to climb this mountain. The word "sin" comes from the name of this mountain that Moses climbed. Making spiritual growth "sinful" keeps the people selfish and violent. Moses is the snake that climbed the mountain and returned with rules to lead us. Selfishness and violence are the essence of snake wisdom. It makes the people... like stone. This is where names like “W. Clement Stone” come from. Snake names are like Cain, Vatican, Kennedy, Cahn etc.

The Medusa similarly turned people into stone and its headless body is found near the Gemini/Taurus boundary, the phase of life when materialism takes control of the organism. The head itself has sunk down to the area of Pisces/Aquarius. Making spiritual growth sinful is a form of sorcery that magically turns persons into objects that can be manipulated. Moses went up the mountain and now his representatives will tell you what you need to know. They say "You will find god by fighting for us." They have militarily removed the spirit from our world and then literally hitched their cart to our desire for spirituality. They say "If you die while fighting, you will go to heaven." By controlling spiritual information like this, magicians took over the world and its resources. This was first done by the priests called "Magi" who invented these ideas. This is where the word "magic" comes from. Magic is the control of people's energy by controlling their understanding of Spirit. Magicians, like the Medusa, turn spirit into stone. Cathedral builders were magicians that convinced people that a building held the sacred and Life and Humanity did not. The Druids originally would not have anything to do with having church buildings. This is probably why the Druids eventually fell to the Christians in Europe. The Christians had cathedral magic. Magic made people believe the Sacred had gone away. Life and Humanity is always the only Sacred.

Man has been reduced to barbaric savagery by these magicians; people are now endlessly fighting in the names of their religious leaders all based on snake wisdom.  In the Zoroastrian world, spiritual growth was also stopped and through sorcery, the correct intention of Virgo was transformed into the idea of virgins in a material heaven--a promised reward for faithful killers. Virgo has become reduced today, in the peak of Saturn’s rule, to an enticement for murder.

SPHINX

The girl in the two pictures I have thus far presented is Rachel Corrie. She is what one might call a grail-bearer from the ancient world. She carried compassion and strength. The sphinx is the symbolic combination of a girl and a lion meaning this type of compassion and strength.  The sphinx is a symbol for her type of “boots on the ground” spirituality. There was no sphinx god.  The sphinx was a symbol for compassion and strength. Rachel stood in the way of a military bulldozer destroying homes in Palestine.  Rachel was run over and killed. This is the reward of the true grail. It is the opposite of the complete moral bankruptcy that we observe today.

The correct compassionate intention of the young girl, Virgo, was long ago replaced and profaned for purposes of violence. Many creative and different systems were developed to stop and deter spiritual growth so that self realization always ends on the material side of the wall or veil separating the material and spirit worlds. In the new world after the massacre of the spiritual ancients, one was only allowed to think that a person was an object. This is the sorcery that runs the world. The original path to spirit became a secret held by the highest magicians of the material world. Holding this secret is the sorcery that gives the modern rulers their rich lives. The rulers do not look at themselves. They are afraid to look. Like vampires looking into a mirror, they see nothing. If we shine the light of truth into their lives they flee the light. They have no Compassion. Compassion is to them like a cross to a vampire. They and compassion cannot live together. Make no mistake, compassion is considered weakness to the current rulers.

There is a theory that the elites get their power to lead by being in the bloodline of the Virgin Mary. This theory holds that the grail is the womb of the Virgin Mother. Sadistic, pro-torture types of course always seem to trace themselves to this bloodline of Jesus. Let’s not be confused, persons are either gentle or brutes, not both. This idea was probably presented in books like The Da Vinci Code in order to distract us from the true grail bearers.

SPHINX

Another grail bearer was the 16 year old girl Neda Agha Sultan who was killed recently while supporting democracy in Iran. As long as these people are with us, the forces of mind over heart will never prevail.To say that such young girls are a reward for terrorists is an abomination.When the world understands what the Saturnists have done, this Medusa’s head will destroy the Sea Monster and the Sphinx will prevail over the invincible demon.

SPHINX (DURGA) KILLS THE DEMON FROM MOVIE SRI MAA

 The biblical statement for the whole process that took place very long ago was "We remade man in our image."  Materialist invaders, “Goddites” to use Lloyd M. Graham’s term, remade man into what THEY thought he was--an object rather than a spirit. The systems from the fall of the Ancient World that objectify humanity became the main world religions. People studying such systems always seem to be interested in "powers" and dominance rather than self realization or compassion. “Greed is good” has taken over the world.

Considering the Milky Way boundary between the Material and Spirit realms a "Wall" provides the occult metaphor for the "wailing wall" and Wall Street.  Heaven for the dwellers below the wall is usually a material place full of gold and diamonds for themselves alone. Some of these systems, like the Cabala are very sophisticated. Taking Lepus as Malkuth and the Band as Kether fatally reveals their secretive Cabala. "10 Downing Street" is 10 steps down the constellations from Lepus to the Band, or 10 steps down to the Ring of the Nibelung that rules the world or to Kether, the material world, where the Fisher King would live. These are the ten rings to Hell described in Dante’s Divine Comedy. The path down to Hell in that story is the river constellation Eridanus. This series of constellations is the second tree in the garden, it is the “Spear of Longinus.” People understanding this will bring in the age of Aquarius and return the bardic knowledge to the public. The Germanic Albrecht from Wagner's Ring Cycle opera climbed the Cabala by swimming DOWN to get the Ring at its tip. A normal adolescent moving through these constellations would even in adolescent days want to avoid the demons of greed and exploitation. John Dee, an adult advisor to Queen Elisabeth, would rather than purging such demons out, as an adult attempted to invite them in, in an attempt to descend the ladder and gain material power. Dee would sign his letters to Queen Elizabeth with "Your secret agent 007"--ideas that have crept into movies from Hollywood relating to some hidden Baphomet character petting a cat and running things. Dee's attempts at inviting in the demons are a source of the later "Enochian" magic of Crowley and others. I think the callous approach to the hurricane Katrina victims taken by the US government can be traced to Crowley. Crowley, as another advisor like Dee, made the "V for victory" sign for Churchill, probably based on the ears of the constellation Lepus, Set or Satan. There is a whole underworld of which ordinary people know little. I believe the very tip of this iceberg was portrayed in the Kubrick movie Eyes Wide Shut.

Looking at the very old system I am describing, which one might call "Bardic Astronomy," it primarily emphasizes spiritual growth and active compassion between Persons. The highest level, that of Virgo, is approached only through compassion. If it is approached through desire for power, it becomes (exactly like the Holy Grail) impossible to attain. The highest spiritual level is self protecting and the lowest level is self destructing. The reason the world civilization seems to be falling apart is because the age of civilization is at the lowest spiritual level. It is at a self destructing time, at its late adolescence. The late adolescent destroys his imperfect mental world view like Samson pushes down the pillars on himself. The late adolescent purposefully destroys the child in himself or herself. Spiritual growth in very ancient times was not praying to outer space gods for power and control over others but was focused on compassion. This type of spiritual growth made for a civilized world until it was destroyed by uncontrolled greed and violence. This was the world of the Ancient Wisdom culture and the civilization of Atlantis. In addition to spiritual growth and compassion between persons, it was important for the body of knowledge sequenced by the constellations to answer standard questions like who we are, where we came from, and where we are going.

The recent Jesus story said to be of 2,000 years ago is a perverted version of the older story transmitted to us essentially by his betrayers. The modern Judeo-Christian story of Jesus is essentially software made for the purpose of controlling conquered people. The shepherd “God" continually leads us into war for the benefit of our rulers. Software controls a robot, and the intense identification with the mind and matter in the modern world makes many of us like the robotic clones portrayed in the recent Star Wars movie called Attack of the Clones. It is no coincidence that the title of the entire series is "Star Wars." The name comes from Hollywood, or as Jordan Maxwell would call it “Holly-wood,”one of the Druid magic centers of the Dagon or Fisher King regime. Conquered peoples have been used and managed for 6,000 years. Most of us are like the Native Americans that have been conquered, reprogrammed, and converted to Christianity. We have all been brainwashed and programmed. Modern Christianity is some of the software through which the "Fisher King" controls us. We believe we are objects and hence can be manipulated by advertising and other means. Like the Native Americans, the same was done in far earlier years to the followers of Aphrodite and other groups. The Elites have cloned themselves through this magic and now the clones attack.

Bardic Astronomy is what we might class as a religion, but long ago the “God” has died and become...Life and Humanity. WE were the resurrected spirit. It comes from a time before "faith" and "god" and "religion." The Sacred was everywhere in the ancient world. You didn’t need faith to see the sacred. The sacred has been removed from the earth and now remains written in the stars. The name Jesus is vastly older than Christianity and was a name of the Cosmos like Osiris and others. The described humanoid of Bardic Astronomy was probably most often applied to three subject areas, the individual, the civilization and the cosmos. There appears to have been one body of knowledge, applied to three areas, satisfying the functions of a religion. What we now call "Gods" have some of the many worldwide names of the same sacred Cosmos that essentially died and resurrected as Life and Humanity. God is here, with us, as Life and Humanity. We are living in the carcass of the Cosmos. Parts of it have returned to life as People, Animals, Plants and Animalcules. I don't believe any outer space "God" as we know was involved in this old system. Gods likely existed for small groups of people as a possibility, but Bardic Astronomy must have held control and supported a compassionate world civilization until the age of Taurus around 4479 BC when greed and materialism took over. If there was an outer space god that created the world for a large number of the ancients, they probably would have also had a chemistry and more violence because of the intense materialism involved with the conception. There seems to be no developed chemistry or violence until more recent times. Modern chemistry can be traced back to Alchemy or "god’s chemistry" which I believe had as its origin around 4479 BC, the approximate date when Sacred Humanism fell and the World became profane. The material sciences started coming into existence and the spiritual sciences started going out of existence near this date. We as a civilization were descending below the veil of the spirit world.  Bardic Astronomy here adds the old 4 parts of life to the many other mysterious groups of four. Old sciences began sacred because life was originally a sacred and singular spirit. The old sciences have now evolved to being profane because everything is commonly thought to be a profane object. When Life and the Sciences were no longer sacred, the modern world of materialism had arrived. Now, the sacred is returning. Animalcules are now beginning to be thought of as being like little humans. Modern physics and biology today need a living theory of matter.

Our modern Judeo-Christian bible tells us Saturn’s or the Fisher King's or the Dagon's answers to the fundamental questions who we are, where we came from and where we are going. The bible is a sort of tapestry of different sections that when taken together answer in a profane way the same questions as the Ancient Wisdom answers by returning the proper sequence to the old stories. The bible is a weaponized version of this Ancient Wisdom. The old wisdom was weaponized by the early adolescent civilization. This is why modern religions have caused so much suffering since the age of Taurus. The Ancient Wisdom is the innocent child and the bible is the rude adolescent. When the adolescent grows up at the end of the age of Pisces (thought by many to be the year 2012) , the adolescent changes to an adult and a part of the spiritual innocence of childhood returns in the adult.

In the modern bible, the spiritual growth toward a compassionate state has been perverted because the bible was written to encourage people to conquer and exploit rather than to relate to others as self. The entire 7 step system of growth to compassion is in the constellations but is omitted from the bible. Jacob's ladder is the exact 7 step system but its meaning was kept secret and withheld from the public. The two sides of Jacob's ladder are the two lines described above. There is a secret tradition that safely explains Jacob’s Ladder in detail to Saturnist priests called alchemy. Compassion was thought to be dangerous long ago just as anti-war groups are considered dangerous today. For security, the current American government uses its resources to monitor Quaker and Vegetarian groups. They are afraid the universal solvent will dissolve their bank accounts! The same world rulers own the land and factories on both sides of our country's borders. Because they own almost EVERYTHING now, the last enemy is now considered to be INSIDE the border, us. We don't own the government, the government owns us. We are the new possible enemy. Non-violence is a revolutionary idea for the Dagon. Non-violence destroys the materialist Dagon. The stories and names of the constellations are of vastly greater age than the bible and the bible is a recent weaponization. The bible can't reach 2,000 years of age while this application of the constellations very easily passes 6,000 years of age. The Hindus retained the systematic path toward compassion in their religion as the Chakras but later were overrun by Moslems. Many of the old Hindu religious texts had to be later recovered from Tibet. Once a small group very long ago turned their back on compassion, the entire world civilization either converted to greed and exploitation or was destroyed.
